The Final Countdown

As everyone now knows, the final tally is 18 for and 26 against. York was no surprise, Newcastle was pleasing. The province of York had a majority for but was well outnumbered by the majority against in the province of Canterbury.

Change your For and Against around in your opening line.

Silly me. Thanks. I wanted the fors first and against second but my head was otherwise on automatic.

Thanks especially for the map -- it seems to be saying something via north and south... but I may be reading too much into it. Interesting to see the solid chunks of "No" in the midst.
