Hymns on Sunday

You can hear the music temporarily for the hymns chosen by David Arthur to be sung at the service tomorrow.

The first hymn is Sing Your Faith SF 021 Lewis Folk Melody choir

The second hymn is Hymns for Living HL 195 Ellacombe

We limit not the truth of God
To our poor reach of mind,
By notions of our day and sect,
Crude, partial and confined.
No, let a new and better hope
Within our hearts be stirred:
The Lord has yet more light and truth
To break forth from his word.

Who dares to bind to partial sense
The oracles of heaven,
For all the nations, tongues and climes,
And all the ages given?
That universe, how much unknown!
That ocean unexplored!
The Lord has yet more light and truth
To break forth from his word.

Darkling our noble forbears went
The fist steps of the way;
'Twas but the dawning, yet to grow
Into the perfect day.
And grow it shall; our glorious sun
More fervid rays afford;
The Lord has yet more light and truth
To break forth from his word.

The valleys past, ascending still,
Our souls would higher climb,
And look down from supernal heights
On all the bygone time.
Upward we press; the air is clear,
And the sphere-music heard:
The Lord has yet more light and truth
To break forth from his word.

The third hymn is the one I wrote to make the music: HL 201 Tomorrow is a Highway write piano - so here is its score as I did it with the words.

The final hymn is SF 198 Creation of Peace choir piano.

Obviously you can hear the words on the choir ones.
